I assume it is about Murtha's redneck / racist comments. As far as Biden, they said he did something dumb yesterday, not sure if it was the comment that Obama would be challenged (like from a threat) in his first year in office or not.

Biden said more than he had to, basically. Nothing horrible.

The full quote is a little different from what's being spread around:

BIDEN: Mark my words, within the next -- first six months of this administration, if we win, they're going to -- we're going to face a major international challenge, 'cause they're going to want to test him, just like they did John Kennedy, they're going to want to test him, and they're going to find out this guy's got steel in his spine.

this is how it's being reported otherwise:

The comparison to Kennedy is interesting, since his first major military move was the Bay of Pigs. Probably not the best thing to call to mind.

I'll never understand people selling out their Faith to a political party - Instead of serving God, they become tools for people pretending to have Godly values, just for their vote.

My girl's view stems from my core values. I'm fine with that.

She's good at asking questions i wouldn't expect a 6 year old to answer though. It's scary how well she reads already. Just wait a year or two.

Our girl's been hitting me with deep questions for quite some time. She's picking up on the reading pretty well. Amazing how it starts coming together. She interprets what she reads in a funny literal way -

For example, we pass by this business sign below and she asks "what does T - E- Bacon - Bacon - E spell?"

That's funny. The reading comes quickly. Mine went from not being able to read at all entering kindergarten to reading at a very high level by February. I found it all amazing how quickly she did it. She had a great teacher.

If it was Megan Fox, if it was any other hot celebrity, nobody would care. But because it's Sarah Palin, the faux outrage has to rear it's head. Give me a break. This has been a pretty civil discussion for the past couple of weeks. Mostly. Don't start trying to turn what people say into outrageous statements. I've respected you, I've done exactly what was asked of me when I didn't argue with you or bait you. But tell me that I made a horrible statement when if it was anybody other than the Golden Girl, you wouldn't have even batted an eye.
