I do, and everyone should. Or more accurately, we should want a president to work WITH our allies around the world.

edit - "Great job" "Really getting in there". She really does not have a gift for speaking.

Yeah, it was that one.

I don't think the shopping digs do undermine his point. She's the one talking about Real America, hockey moms, and small town values and then wearing Valentino. I personally don't have a problem with that. Looking good is going to help her. I just think it's a massive joke on all the people who vote for her because of how "authentic" she is. Cindy McCain wore a $300,000 outfit to the convention but people don't criticize her for that because she's massively wealthy. That's her prerogative. Palin's biggest qualification is that she knows the price of a gallon of milk. It's such a massive fraud. Palin clearly doesn't know what the hell she's talking about so the GOP thinks they can get around this by dressing her up all pretty.

America doesn't require the leader that somebody from somewhere else wants. Why would those people know what Obama or McCain offers for cooperation with their nation? Perhaps instead of electing a president we should just build a computer with a program that just poles the entire world and bases decisions off of that?

$150,000 for clothes -Palin could have said "thanks but no thank"....

- you can bet with that kind of booty allowance, we won't have a shortage of women clamoring to be the first US prez.

I watched some radio lady named Heidi Harris on "Hardball" state that it's unfair that people who make more money pay more in taxes. Then McPalin, with their pal Kevin Slaten, are running around saying that Obama would hand out money to people who do nothing.

It's funny how much we've demonized socialism when major institutions like health care (Medicare and Medicaid), social security and our armed forces are all socialist. Hell, Sarah Palin's state cuts a check from oil revenues and gives them out to Alaskan citizens. Can it get anymore Lenin? Obviously people have a problem with some of these, but I'll bet a lot of the people denouncing socialism at McPalin rallies aren't about to turn down a Medicareaid check.

Whoa, Sarah Palin and John McCain are modest aren't they? Christ, I'm watching a bit of their interview with Brian Williams and they love to stroke their own egos.

More than any time in our nation's short history, the hardass "we don't need anyone else, we'll go it alone" philosophy has proven to be highly ineffective. Even if we decided to be a completely isolationist state, I don't think we could be completely independent.

No need to softball it, Richie, there's no way we could be completely indepedent. I agree with your post 100%.
