Blaze Jordan was not added to the 40 man, so he is eligible for the Rule 5 draft.

I think it’s easier to hide a pitcher on your MLB roster all season than a position player. I don’t see a team picking him and keeping him in the majors all season based on what I’ve seen so far.Spider John wrote: ↑November 20 25, 2:15 pmBlaze Jordan was not added to the 40 man, so he is eligible for the Rule 5 draft.
But I was surprised Matz even got a return as good as him when we traded him, so I know nothing anyway lol

Blaze Jordan hit only 1 fewer HR (7) for the Cardinals' system this year than Jordan Walker (8) did.

Jordan liked a post on X that complained about him not being put on the 40 man. People are making hay about it like he took a whiz in Bloom’s Wheaties.

I think the Cardinals made the smart move not protecting Jordan. He batted under .200 with Memphis, so I can't seem someone taking a defensive limited player that hasn't dominated AAA onto their 26-man roster for the full season.
I assume Hjerpe will get transferred to the 60-Day IL once eligible to, but that will be after the draft.
If the Cardinals find some room on their roster and just want to bring in some interesting names and let them grow I wonder if Miguel Bleis has any interest to them. He's not ready (or even really close) for the majors, but was a International Bonus Baby for Bloom in Boston and has top end physical traits. Speed, Power - just an interesting high ceiling toolsy player that costs almost nothing to give a try. Cards are just devoid of that skill set right now. They can go with the 0.5-1.5 WAR peaks of Nathan Church and Matt Koperniak or someone that can actually move the needle if it all comes together.

I've seen chatter about this on twitter, but couldn't seem to find an article confirming we signed him. Anyone know the deal?cardsfantx wrote: ↑November 19 25, 3:24 pmcards to sign 16 yer old Emanuel Luna from the Dominican for 2.3 million

International signing period isn’t open yet, it’s an agreement in principleheyzeus wrote: ↑November 21 25, 8:59 amI've seen chatter about this on twitter, but couldn't seem to find an article confirming we signed him.
