Eh, they're not consistently smashing him.

Even in the first innnig two of the outs were weak liners/popups to Belliard....and there's been at least a few more of those even since then.

Since the first though, they haven't centered him well at all.

(Weak lineout and swinging K so far this inning.)

Outstanding inning Reyes! He's settled in nicely... Methinks the offense, Molina, and Duncan deserve a lot of credit.

The swing (or whatever you wanna call it) by Guillen leads me to believe that they're looking changeup a lot... but I think Dunc convinced Reyes to quit relying on it so much.

Agree completely...he's barely used it since the firt.

Once Detroit starts making the adjustment and starts sitting on the FB again, then he can start mixing it back in a little more.

Verlander's starting to get nasty again...but no first pitch swinging from the boys, so it's alright.

Only ten pitches that inning...not great, but still double digits.

81 through 5 for Verlander....two more innings at the most.
