Re: Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin
I was watching Obama/Bill Clinton in Florida just now and Obama was talking about Clinton and said something like, if you've forgotten what it's like having a president who is smart.....
I don't know if it's the Mojito talking, but I thought that was pretty funny.

I guess McCain is spending his remaining campaign money on direct mail pieces. I am literally getting an anti-Obama brochure every single day in the mail.

Re: Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin
A little story from an old inner county suburb.
So my sis is in town and she says to Mom, "Why don't you put an Obama sign in your yard?"
Mom, not the confrontational sort, would usually let a friend or neighbor stick a typically Republican candidate's sign in her rather visible yard. This year she agreed with sis and put her own candidate's sign on her lawn. Not much later a friend and neighbor whose daughter-in-law is a very prominent local Republican politician stopped by to tell her she had to get rid of the Obama sign.
Of course Mom told Mrs H that it was going to stay.
The next day she stopped by again to admit that if she could vote -she's Canadian- that it would be Obama.

Considering I live in North St. Louis County, I don't think so.docellis wrote:They probably know they can count on the rural areas I would guess.BW23 wrote:I guess they're not hitting the rural areas. I'm not getting any.

Re: Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin
The only thing I've received was on all the republican Missourians running for top offices...and McCain, of course. It basically just said "we need you".docellis wrote:They probably know they can count on the rural areas I would guess.BW23 wrote:I guess they're not hitting the rural areas. I'm not getting any.
Nothing anti-Obama.
My guess is that St. Louis, KC and Columbia, and surrounding areas, are getting it.
