I saw the original Caligari and it was bad enough.
Oh I highly recommend seeing it. If you can find it. It is a horrible movie. But I recommend seeing it.

Nevada. I don't know about the rest of the state but I've been extremely impressed by the way things have been run here in Las Vegas. There are so many places you can vote early and everyone staffing the places seems pretty competent. I bet there aren't hardly any lines at the polls tomorrow.Cronos69 wrote:Well, she definitely didn't say anything like that. Hmm. I don't know if the rules differ in Missouri but I was able to vote here under the same circumstances. When I registered I mentioned to the woman that I might want to vote absentee and she said I would get info how to do that in the mail. Instead I received an absentee ballot. When I went to vote in person two weeks ago it popped up on their computer. All I had to do was sign something promising to destroy the absentee ballot and acknowledging that I could be charged with something (perjury?) if that ballot was sent in. Then I was able to vote no problem.
I don't want to complain about volunteers but...there's a difference between a good volunteer and any body they can pick up off the street. And I meant to put the space between "any" and "body".
What state is "Here", by the way? .
I can whole-heartedly recommend the original. Although I should warn that there is an alarming shortage of nympho-plowing Kewpie dolls involved.docellis wrote:pop_haines wrote:

It's been called off. They are citing the Bloomberg Clause.07come11 wrote:Hey does anybody know if the election is this Tuesday or next Tuesday?

Dixville Notch has not voted for a Democrat in Midnight voting since 1968. Well guess what?Dixville Notch is best known in connection with its longstanding middle-of-the-night vote in the U.S. presidential election, including during the New Hampshire primary (the first primary election in the U.S. presidential nomination process). In a tradition that started in the 1960 election, all the eligible voters in Dixville Notch gather at midnight in the ballroom of The Balsams. The voters cast their ballots and the polls officially are closed one minute later. The result of the Dixville Notch vote in both the New Hampshire primary and the general election are traditionally broadcast around the country immediately afterwards.
A similar tradition in the community of Hart's Location, New Hampshire began in 1948; theirs was discontinued in the 1960s in light of the abundance of media attention, and revived only in 1996.

Good start, huh? Especially considering this little hamlet in the middle of nowhere (pop. 75) is quite Republican:

Gore 5
1996:
Dole 18
Clinton 8
1992:
