LOL...I know the guy in the darker blue shirt. The damage you see the rock thrower caused is not even the half of it.

SERIOUSLY??? OK, I need the backstory here. And did anyone get charges from any of this???

Sorry for the delayed follow up.....The guy in the blue shirt told me pretty much what has shown up in the media. The alleged rock thrower wandered in to the parking lot of a local union that was having an election of officers (parking lot was fairly busy). The guy did not have any affiliation with the union and just happened to be walking by. He knocked over a few motor cycles, opened a car door and tried to tear it off the car. He left the union parking lot broke a windshield on somebodies Audi and then went after the houses. The last house that he broke the windows on, randomly, happened to be a retired member of the union that was having the election. There has been some statements online following the video that the golf cart guy may face some charges but to the best of my knowledge that has not happened. I asked blue shirt guy how the golf cart driver was doing and he said other than the damage to his house he was doing ok. I saw a video that showed the police and fire department after they arrived and about 6 of them physically picked the golf cart up off the guy. Blue shirt guy said that it seemed to him that rock guy appeared to be heavily under the influence of something. I think he was handed over to another state due to an outstanding warrant. I don't know the extent of his injuries.

I might have told this anecdote before, can't remember. About 7 years ago my wife and I were renting a garden unit, aka basement, apartment in an old house. Never again! Between our building and the one next door there was a gangway about 18 inches wide that a person would have to go out of their way to get into through the backyard. Our bedroom had a window at ground level that opened to this space between buildings that a person could barely fit in.

So one night at like 3am, I bolt upright because there's a knocking sound on the glass and a bright light shining in. Half asleep and confused, I don't know what to make of it. It seems to have stopped. We go back to sleep, terrified. Then it happens again and now I know there has to be someone out there up to no good. But it stops again before I can figure out what's happening.

Maybe 10 minutes later there's a knock at the front door. I answer it. It's our next door neighbor saying her husband had to go to the hospital and asking if she can borrow $20 to buy medicine or something. I ask her if she's just been knocking on our window and shining a light through it, but she claims to have no idea what I'm talking about. "Maybe it was the homeless guy who lives in the backyard," she replies. Whaaaaaaa??? There's been someone living a foot outside my bedroom window this whole time? What the hell?

I ended up giving her the $20. The next day I went out to introduce myself to this unhoused neighbor I've apparently been unaware of, but no sign whatsoever that anyone has been squatting back there. I think she made it all up.

We didn't last 6 months in that apartment. It was a nightmare.

Unfortunately she was probably in a bad stage of drug addiction, is my guess.
