I don’t know where they got that data; some dude on Facebook that was in the bottom half of our class informed me that the flu kills just as many people every year, and nobody gives a damn.GeddyWrox wrote: ↑May 28 20, 9:11 amI don't think there is a way to embed this. It's an animation showing running total of global deaths for various causes in 2020.

Re: Coronavirus
About a month ago my wife got really sick. Had a fever for 14 days and was like dead to the world. She almost went to the hospital but her symptoms never progressed far enough. I also had a fever for 4-5 days, then was fine for 4 days, then started having problems taking a full breath. It sucked and was the worst sickness i've had in years.
Her doctor wanted her to get tested when she was sick. She went to a testing site and was turned away becuse they didn't have enough tests and her symptoms weren't critical enough. So we've spent the last month having no idea if it was Covid or some other sickness.
She got an antibody test done earlier this week. Just got the test results back. She was positive for COVID-19 antibodies. So looks like I had the coronavirus! Yay me?

Yeah that's awesome. Now you can go to those half naked pool parties and be invincible. Kinda like being immune to std's, which would also be popular at those type of events.

We needed to have at least one postmortal mod so that the site can go on forever. Thanks, Theo, for stepping up for the team.

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. -- The Camden County Health Department said Friday a Boone County resident who has tested positive for COVID-19 visited the Lake of the Ozarks during Memorial Day Weekend.
According to Health Director Bee Dampier, the case arrived at the Lake on Saturday and started showing symptoms on Sunday. Dampier said it is likely COVID-19 was incubating illness during that person's visit.
"Due to the need to inform mass numbers of unknown people, we are publicly releasing the following timeline, which was provided by the case," Dampier said in a news release.
On Saturday, May 23, the positive case visited Backwater Jacks between 1 and 5 p.m. Then, they went to Shady Gators and Lazy Gators Pool from 5:40 to 9 p.m.
From Shady Gators, the case went back to Backwater Jacks from 9:40 to 10 p.m.
On Sunday, May 24, the case had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lake Ozark from 1 to 2 p.m., went to Shady Gators from 2:30 until around 7 p.m., then got a cab from Shady Gators to a private home.

Re: Coronavirus
All state and residents in my mother's nursing home were tested for the coronavirus on Friday, as part of a statewide program requiring testing in all nursing homes. Three residents and four staff in my mother's unit tested positive, although all were asymptomatic (and I know there's a high rate of false positives). I think the facility is moving very aggressively to deal with this, but it doesn't surprise me that staff and patients may have it. Frankly, I'm shocked that my mother wasn't one of the people who tested positive.
