Baseball isn’t playing 162. No way.

Bring back doubleheaders. At least 1 a week. Really lean on that 26th man/13th pitcher.

A Yankees minor leaguer has tested positive for coronavirus. First to report: @JeffPassan - Ken Rosenthal

162 games? People are clueless. We just aren't a serious country and we're about to pay dearly for it.

Baseball shouldn't have canceled.

They should play the games without fans.

That's not going to help. They're saying players shouldn't even be practicing together. The seriousness of this issue is being severely understated. It's bad. Like, really bad.

There’s a joke in here somewhere about not needing to play in front of an empty stadium at that point.

But why are players being held to a different standard than every day Americans? My sister has to take a train in and out of NYC each day to work at a school. Isn't that significantly worse than playing baseball, as far as spreading the virus is concerned?

They shouldn't be held to a different standard. Everyone should be in the house but the US has shown bad leadership in this time. Everyone is still more concerned about money being lost than the wellbeing/health of society. Your sister shouldn't have to risk taking the train everyday at this moment. NYC should be in shutdown mode.
