NCAA soccer not a big deal around here but the Tournament starts today. My nephew's Georgetown team got the overall #3 seed. Was very cool to finally get a chance to see him play on TV last week. More to come I hope.

Oh man. Got super lucky with relocation. Up against 96% renewal we moved from one section off the center row L to the center section row E right in the middle of the row without paying any more (200 level). Timing must have been just right. Most people didn't even have a relocation option worth considering unless they wanted to pay 75% more and from what I'm gathering, even those opportunities were quite few.

Juventus just trounced Chelsea 3-0 in the Champions League. Hopefully in 2 weeks, it'll be adios defending champs!

Caleb Porter making moves, Sai. Love the Will Johnson pick up. NYRB people on twitter are bemoaning the loss of Bryan Gallego too.

Our GM isn't the most popular man in Timbersdom (with good reason) but how he got anything, let alone cash and a prospect, for Kimura is pretty impressive.

I like Johnson as a player, but he made an ass of himself against us a couple times, other fans say the same thing. I hope he tones that down a bit, because he's my ass now, I guess.

Anyway, lots of room for improvement, and certainly a lot more changes to be made. I kind of want Feilhaber and think he could do real well on a passing team, but our CM is starting to get crowded depending if Johnson plays wing or CM for us, and of course more moves.

NCAA College Cup Semis are today at 4 and 630 CST on ESPNU and ESPN3. Georgetown v Maryland and Creighton v Indiana. If Georgetown wins today I'm driving to Birmingham for the Final on Sunday.

2 goals in a minute for the Hoyas. Nice, Luke. Enjoy Birmingham!

Wow, that was close. Despite G'town being the overall #3 seed, Maryland was an overwhelming favorite apparently. I bet my mom jumped out of her brand new hip when Tomas made that final PK save.

8 total goals was the most College Cup goals since like 1970 or so.
