The Stone Roses are reuniting but they're only playing Manchester and a festival that's like two hours from Manchester.

Damn. I think "She Bangs the Drum" would be a short-list contender for favorite song ever. I used the refrain for it as the end of this little thing I wrote a while back about my experience listening to music with a cochlear implant.

Chris Stapleton took home New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year, which is crazy because only a couple months ago, he had a cd release party at a small place called Mercy Lounge down the street from me.

Wanted to go, but didnt get a chance to. Glad i got to see him with Isbell.

Foo Fighters released a free-to-download 5-song EP today, Saint Cecilia. Recorded in the hotel with the same name while doing Austin City Limits this year.

Oh and Tool has released the schedule for the first leg of a US tour that starts in Jan. Adam Jones interview published in Rolling Stone today.
