And here I thought it was Babe Ruth League games keeping you from game threads.
Well, that too. We got our asses beat again tonight and I'm wanted for the murder of an umpire.
But Call of Duty attributes to my absence as well.

A week? That's weaksause dude. You need to step your game up.

I've always been kind of meh at FPS online with the exception of Halo, which I've always been really good at. Call of Duty is one of those games that just drives me insane when I lose because it's always because I never see a sniper across the map or I don't see a guy run right past me in front of me. On Halo, I see absolutely every person moving around me. But on COD, I can't frigging see people. I don't get it. I have an HD TV and the image is extremely, extremely high quality and yet these guys can see me across an entire map and I can't see them 6 feet away.
I still drop a turd of a game where I go like 5 kills, 14 deaths every couple of games but lately I've been at least breaking even or maybe going +4 or +5. Which is a huge improvement because I used to be absolutely putrid at COD.

In actual warfare people don't wear brightly colored armor and jump around 5 feet high in the air. This may have something to do with it. Plus you die in about 4 bullets compared to 15 bullets to the head. I'd have to see a video of you playing to know what you're doing wrong. I usually run around with sprint just blowing people away in the face. I usually have the sprint perk, deep impact, and the one that does extra normal bullet damage. Normally in team deathmatch I'll go 25-5 or so, but I usually play domination which destroys K/D to around 35-25.
And if you think stock cod4 is insane the project reality mod for bf2 is nuts. It tries to mimic actual warfare so half the time the person who kills you you cannot see, whether its a helicopter in the distance or a tank on a ridge from five miles away, and since only 3 people on a team of 30 can have anti-tank it gets really frustrating.

I played a lot of BF2 and BF 2142, but I am playing a lot of Battlefield Heroes now. What a ridiculously fun game.
Headed to gamestop sometime this afternoon with nothing particular in mind. There are so many games I need to catchup on. Oblivion sounds like it could occupy me for a month or 6.
For anybody with an iPhone or iPod Touch... Real Soccer 09 is an awesome game. It's similar to older Fifa games. If you set it to 5 minute halfs, it's perfect for playing a game while taking a dump.
don't know if people are familiar with this guy, but i've been watching a lot of his videos lately and think he's pretty funny...he's the angry video game nerd...he does reviews of the old video game systems, and the bad games that were made for them...(he'll also do movie reviews)...
