I know a guy who claimed that while he lived with his parents he didn't use tissues, a special towel, old sock or whatever, but one side of his king bed that he never slept on. He'd just roll over and let it fly in that direction, and then wash his sheets once a month or so. He would also sometimes stand up and use the front of his dresser and supposedly it left a weird stain over time.
I stole a condom from my parent's bedside table when I was really young. I think it was one of two in the drawer, but I didn't really think it through. Luckily I was never confronted about it or I would've had to make something up which would've probably been weirder than the actual explanation, which was pretty much what thrill just described.

It kind of sucks unless you get it over with really quickly.
A) You're standing up which can get uncomfortable.
B) Water is not a good lubricant.
C) A porn setup isn't really feasible.
D) If you get worked up at all, you get out of the shower feeling like you didn't shower.
Sometimes it's necessary, but in the privacy of your own home it's something to try and avoid.
edit - I think I've made a similar post before, so sorry for the redundancy. This is an important topic though.
