He insisted that it was too borderline of a call to make in such a close game in the final seconds.
That just doesn't make sense. Is the ref supposed to draw a line at what, ten seconds to change how he calls a foul? And only if it is a close game? I didn't like the foul either, but it was on the player not the ref.

I agree completely. Just making sure i'm not crazy. The butler coach seemed to be echoing the same sentiments as my roomate in the post game interview.

I actually didn't watch the end of that game but I've seen the replays. You would kind of hope the refs swallow the whistle there, but it was a dumb play by Pittsburgh and they can't complain.
