First words outta Kruk: Weak NL Central...SHHHEEZZZ

Who cares what Kruk says about the NL Central.

We won the World Series last year.

That means more than anything he or any of his talking head cohorts have to say.

When it came to nut cutting time STL took care of business.

Playing in a 'weak' division means jack squat.

This is the first baseball game I've gotten to watch on my 55 inch SXRD HD TV..

And the game is in HD....

Hopefully LOTS of Cards games are on ESPN in HD

ist strange...i was watchin the pit/atl game at work (no sound)...and they had an image on the screen saying "nl teams to watch" and they had 3 espn people give like 6 teams to watch...kruk was one, i think phillips and someone else...well, anyways...kruk was the only one to say cardinals...they were like 6th on his list, but he was still the only one...and im assuming it was in regards to "good teams" 'cause the other ones where like the dodgers, the mets, the phillies...

You missed some quality discussion during that time... It all pretty much went in one ear and out the other but the one thing that stuck w/ me was Phillips said the Cardinals needed Carpenter to win 20+ games for them to be successful.

Was watching this as I was getting ready for work... I don't even care about Steve Phillips... I almost shed a tear for the simple fact that baseball was on.

It's back, folks.

Even though Phillips is still an idiot.
