ST Game Thread 3/5: Astros at Cards
Game Notes are available HERE.
Too busy with work to read the notes so I'm not sure if there's anything good in there....
mlb.com will have streaming audio of the Astros' broadcast available through the Gameday Audio package. No streaming video or XM Radio broadcast available that I know of.
GO CARDINALS!

being out for a year and missing out on fall and winter ball, my guess is they want to get him as much real game situation play before the season starts even though he's certain to start out in AAA. If he keeps hitting the ball though you have to wonder if at some point in the season he'll be up in the bigs, maybe as a sept. call upheyzeus wrote:we're giving Ankiel a lot of PT, it appears. Which brings up another point, if those two start the season on the DL, Ankiel, Schumaker or Marrero could make the rosterPopeye_Card wrote:Well, Edmonds and Encarnacion are out, and Wilson is apparently nursing a sore shoulder. That's scary. I just now realized that Juan, Jimmy, Eckstein (I guess he started a game or two), Kennedy, and Izzy haven't logged playing time.cards2468 wrote:Which brings up another point, if those two start the season on the DL, Ankiel, Schumaker or Marrero could make the rosterPopeye_Card wrote:Well, Edmonds and Encarnacion are out, and Wilson is apparently nursing a sore shoulder.
