Roto Question

So I tried a roto league this year and the strategy is a little different. It's harder to plug and play and figure out how to 'win'.

On basic strategy, what do I focus on category wise? If I'm doing well in SB, W's and K's do I try and improve my Pitching staff to get more points there? Or if I'm in 8th of R/RBI and tied for 7th in HR do I try and pick up a big bat?

So do I try to get the most points where I'm already doing well, or try and balance out a little bit and pick up some bats?
