he was just so solid, so balanced all year. Except for, well, when it counted.

I questioned Goldy's staying power when he was signed. Whether that money needed to go into a first baseman or if he could easily be replaced. I was wrong, he's been exceptionally good and an anchor in the infield. Congrats to him.
