I have no clue if this is a good trade.

I just want to say it is nice to see the ability to actually make trades outside of “winter meetings” or waiting 8 months later.

Regardless of this was a good trade, I am happy to see a different operating style.

From what I’m reading, Fitts is a #5/swing starter while Clarke is further away but has some potential

Darn. I was hoping Bloom would keep him. Boston is a long way from Nashville and the Red Sox were only a wild card team last year. I hope he is happy there and gets a ring. And pitches a perfect game against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

It looks like Clarke was a top 100 prospect for much of the season but got injured in the summer and walks became an issue.
