Funny that the Rockies, A’s and Nationals were all ineligible for the lottery, and all will pick before us now that the lottery dropped us from 8 to 13

Well considering how poorly we expect the Cards to be next year, its good that they will be eligible for a top 6 pick next draft lottery.

Last time the Cards picked 13th they took Brett Wallace so if there's another way to flip that pick for a Cardinals Hall of Famer, cool.

Lucky 13! I seem to recall another 13th (round) pick that turned out pretty darned good for th Cardinals.
