I expect the additional arm to be added to the active roster before game time today; especially with the plans of a bullpen game.
Cardinals have a tough couple of match ups ahead against the Dodgers with Yamamoto tonight and Skubal tomorrow.

wonder is there will be any talk of moving the OF walls in a few feet?
I don't want it to be a launching pad by moving them in too far, but it needs to play a lot more neutral IMO

Yesterday, the Red Sox started a rookie just called up from AAA and pushed Sonny Gray’s expected start from Tuesday to Saturday. Sonny said he could use the rest, but the rookie got hammered by the Mariners. A Red Sox fan on X said this:
Playing for October? I guess when you’re in the Wild Card hunt you can do that, but I don’t like the idea of punting a game.
